This Privacy Policy (“privacy policy” or “policy”) applies to all the products, features and services (“services”) available to you (“user”, “you”, or “yours”) offered by XVision or its subsidiaries or affiliates, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our services.

About Us
XVision, through its mobile application Alyke, provides a social discovery platform designed to help users connect meaningfully through shared interests, personality traits, vibes, and real-life stories. Alyke encourages intentional friendships and modern connections with tools like personality avatars, power-ups, vibe scores, curated interests, match filtering, chat streaks, and more. We prioritize authentic friendships, genuine engagement, and creating a safe, inclusive, and user-friendly space for all users. At Alyke, we believe that privacy and transparency are fundamental to your experience, hence, we do not support anonymous or hidden interaction features — all interactions on Alyke are guided and visible to the user.
By accessing or using the Alyke App and other services on out platform, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy as well as the platform’s Terms of Service, and agree that we may communicate with you regarding security, privacy, administrative issues and any updates related to your use of our app, website and any other related features or solutions provided by us. Rest assured, your personal information will remain safeguarded under this privacy policy, regardless of any changes to your membership status.
1. WHAT FUELS ALYKE? (INFORMATION WE COLLECT, WHY WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT)
1.1 Information We Collect
When you visit the Alyke App and use our services, we collect both personal and non-personal information to provide, improve and protect the services and to ensure a smooth, safe, and personalized experience.
Personal Information: When you use or visit our App, we may require you to provide certain personal information that can be used to uniquely identify or contact you depending on the business context and the purposes for which it was collected. This may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- a. Contact Information: Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, pin code, country, and other data you choose to provide when you contact us or visit our platform to learn more about our services.
- b. Account and Profile Information: Username, profile picture, password and other information like sexual orientation, interests, friend preferences, personality details, ethnicity, religious beliefs or political affiliations. when user creates an account on our app. If you choose to provide this data, you consent to us using it as laid out in this Privacy Policy. Only such data as you specify through settings will be visible to others on your profile. You may register with our platform using your existing email or mobile number, in which case we will receive certain profile information about you from your account provider.
- c. Payment and Billing Information: Your billing name, billing address, and payment-related details when you choose to make purchases or upgrade your membership. All payment data is handled and stored by our trusted payment partners and app providers, Google Play Store and Apple App Store, service providers like Adapty to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, and we do not have access to payment card numbers.
- d. Demographic Information: Name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email, emergency contact, profile pic, gender, ethnicity, religion, current gps location, hometown, language, country code, interests and other details you choose to provide during the use of our app, to provide you better recommendations. Once you register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time just by logging in to Alyke (other than your date of birth, name, mobile number, email and location (which, if you have given Alyke access to your location in your device settings, is automatically updated based on the location of your device)). It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are kept up to date.
- e. Other Information: Details related to your interactions with the app, such as your location data, traffic data, user media, communication data, mobile device data, if you have given us permission to access this information.
We may request additional personal information from time to time to provide you with enhanced services or benefits related to the app. We do not process information that may be considered sensitive in certain jurisdictions.
Non-Personal information: We may also collect certain non-personal information that does not directly identify you as an individual. This information helps us improve the app’s functionality and user experience and includes:
- a. Device and Technical Information: Your computer or mobile device information such as geographic location, unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, internet service provider, device id, device type, device brand, device name, ip address, internet on or off, and device event information such as system activity and error reports.
- b. User Activity Information: Insights into your activity on the platform, including time spent, pages accessed, session details and interaction patterns.

We recommend and encourage you (and all our members) to think carefully about the information you disclose about yourself. We also do not recommend that you put email addresses, URLs, instant messaging details, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit card details, national identity numbers, drivers’ licence details and other sensitive information which is open to abuse and misuse on your profile. When you post information about yourself or use the messaging function to communicate with other users, the amount of personal information you share is at your own risk.
All personal and non-personal data is collected and processed in order to provide you with the services in a reliable and secure manner, and for legitimate business needs. If you choose to share any personal data or information related to any third-party on our platform, you represent that you have the permission of such third party to share their information and agree to take responsibility for the same.

We collect information through various methods across our website and mobile app.

Crashes and Error Tracking
To monitor real-time crashes and errors, and to provide you with a smooth and error-free experience while using our Mobile App, we use the services of the third-party provider Sentry.

Marketing and Analytics Data
To track marketing and analytics data, we use the services of Clevertap. Minimal personally identifiable information (PII) necessary for analytics purposes is shared with Clevertap to enable their services.

1.3 Why We Collect Your Information
The information we collect is designed in a manner to deliver you a tailored and meaningful experience on the Alyke app and while using other services on our platform. By collecting personal details and preferences, we aim to:
- create a unique user profile for the you to access our platform;
- connect you with individuals who share similar interests and hobbies, fostering genuine and authentic interactions;
- enable you to communicate and connect with other users;
- suggest nearby connections and enable location-based features;
- respond to user inquiries and to provide services and support;
- send you updates, notices, marketing and promotional communications and to request feedback;
- continually refine and personalize your experience, and improving the app’s features;
- address any technical issues and ensure a smooth, safe, and personalized experience;
- carry out our obligations and enforce our rights and legitimate business interests when you use the services provided on out platform;
- ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, prevent unauthorized activity, address and investigate issues promptly;
- fulfil any other purpose for which you provide it
Your consent is essential for us to provide these services, and you retain the right to withdraw it at any time. However, please note that any data processed before consent withdrawal remains lawful. To ensure your privacy, we employ industry-standard security measures to protect the data you share with us.
1.4 How Information is Stored
We are dedicated to the safety and security of your information and are fully transparent about how we handle your files and personal data.
- We do not allow other users to access your information, except the information you choose to share with others on our platform. However, any information shared with third-party service providers and third-party apps is governed by their policies, and user is recommended to check the policies of such service providers and third-party apps before using our app.
- Except as required in compliance with all the relevant laws and as set out in this Privacy Policy, we at XVision have put stringent security mechanisms in place to ensure not to give out or disclose to anyone or allow others to access your personal information.
- We only retain a minimum amount of personal information to ensure your access to our services, and do not retain copies of your data unless you explicitly upload any files or data to our platform or share your data with others.
- Your personal information is available in our servers for the time you use our services, after which it is deleted in accordance with our retention policy detailed below, and except for the information which may be required to be retained in accordance with law. If you choose to delete your account from our platform and stop using our services, your profile will be disabled and no longer visible to users. We maintain a safety retention window of 3 months after account closure, during which certain data is retained to address security incidents, fraud, or unlawful activities. For banned accounts, key identifying information may be retained for up to 2 years to prevent re-registration attempts and protect the integrity of the platform. If there are any outstanding legal matters (e.g., disputes, claims, subpoenas), relevant information will be retained until such matters are fully resolved. Upon expiry of the retention periods, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data, unless further retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes. The retention of this data during this period is in line with our legitimate interests, as well as the interests of potential third-party victims.
Files Stored by Google Drive, Apple Cloud Storage and other Storage Providers
Users can download and install our app through Google Play Store Account and Apple Store, and all information shared with or through such app providers and other service and storage providers like Amazon and MongoDB are handled in accordance with their privacy policies and terms. 1.5 How We Use and Process Your Information
The information we collect serves several purposes, primarily to utilise our recommendation logic which provides recommendations to users based on interests, home state, language, personality, ethnicity, religion, age, distance, political leaning, so as to improving your overall experience on the app. We may also process and share your personal information if there is a legal obligation to do so by a statuary authority from the appropriate jurisdiction.
- a. Account Information: We may process your personal information to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, including providing our services to you. Your profile information will be used to provide you recommendations, and to improve your experience while using our app.
- b. Login Information: User can register through mobile number or email, and both are verified through otp to ascertain your identity and avoid any false information. We process and securely store your login credentials to verify your identity and provide you with seamless access to your Alyke account and other services on our platform. This includes ensuring that your account remains secure and accessible only to you.
- c. Email Address: Your email address will not be shared with third parties. It will be used solely for the following purposes:
- informing you about your membership status and sending welcome email.
- notifying you of relevant activities related to your account like launch of Alyke app, friend found, referral achieved or coins earned.
- sending messages related to account deletion, account ban, account ban warning etc.
- troubleshooting and resolving any issues you encounter.
- email OTP verification
We encourage you to exercise caution in case you make your email address visible or accessible to others, and you agree to take responsibility for how your information is used by others.
- d. Email or SMS/Whatsapp Notifications: By registering with us and using our services, you consent to receive notifications via email, sms or whatsapp etc. These notifications may include updates about your account, matches, or activity on the app. If you prefer not to receive notifications, messages or unsolicited and unwanted marketing calls, you should register your mobile number with Do-Not-Call registries (DNC) as applicable to your jurisdiction. You may also change your notification preferences by accessing settings in your account or by sending us an email at contact@joinalyke.com.
- e. Geolocation Data: With your consent, we may process your geolocation data to provide location based features from recommendations, top picks, filters like lookup. Sharing your location is optional but necessary to discover and connect with other users nearby.
- f. Uploaded Photos:
- To create an engaging profile, it is essential to upload your pictures and choose a display image.
- We may use automated recognition features to assess image quality, composition, and authenticity to ensure the best representation of your profile. Please note that such automated recognition features are prone to errors, and this might lead to some images being missed or other errors in display, which is beyond our control.
- Photos uploaded by you will be reviewed before being displayed on your profile to check for any content violations. Any content violation in media or images, or any other wrong information by the user will lead to the profile being blocked and removal of such content or wrong information.
- Your uploaded photos may be visible to other users, and with your explicit consent, your profile pictures may feature on the Alyke homepage or in promotional content.
- g. Chat Messages and Written Content:
- Your chat messages are private and stored securely to provide access to your chat history.
- Any information provided or shared by you during your chat with other users while using our services may be used by others to contact you or to send you messages, and we are not responsible for the personal information or any other information you choose to provide in your chat messages.
- To maintain a safe and respectful platform, we may use filters and image verification flow to identify inappropriate content, such as derogatory language or vulgar images. We reserve the right to remove such content and take appropriate action against misuse.
- Persistent acts of harassment or any conduct in violation of our platform’s guidelines shall result in the permanent suspension or deletion of the user’s account from our platform.
- h. Customer Service History: All communications made with our customer support through the grievance cell are duly recorded and maintained to enhance and optimize the quality of services provided to you.
- i. Push Notifications: We may send push notifications to inform you about the status of your membership, to notify you of any new messages, activities, or updates pertaining to your account, and to suggest potential matches or provide promotional content. Some examples of push notifications include but are not limited to Abandon Profile (Incomplete Signup), Launch Notification (New Version Released), Daily Engagement (New People in Your Area), Daily Engagement (New Top Picks), Friend Found (New Friend Matched), New Message (User Received a New Message), Referral Achieved (Referral Code Used). These notifications will be sent in accordance with your preferences and may be changed in your device’s settings.
- j. Social Media Tools: You may choose to share information or content with other social media platforms, social networking services, or other third-party features or integrated tools while using our services, and vice versa. By using these features, you can share certain information with your friends or the public, based on the privacy settings you choose with the third-party provider of the social sharing tool. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing related to these features, please review the privacy policies of the third parties that provide them.
- k. Inviting Friends: You may use our referral feature wherein you can share your referral code and link to your friends and invite your friends to join our app or use our services. By sharing your referral, you confirm that your friend has agreed to receive it and agree to take full responsibility for any issues or claims arising from the invitation and will indemnify us against any related claims, damages, or liabilities.
2. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
2.1 You have certain rights that allow you to access to and control over your personal information, depending on your country of residence, and the data protection laws applicable to you as provided in Clause 2.2 of this policy.
- i. Right to Manage: You have the right to request access, obtain a copy of and manage your personal information. You may access, correct, amend, add, or delete your personal information by logging into your profile on the platform. Additionally, you are free to delete specific content or even your entire account at any time. However, some of your information may be retained by us for a certain period as permitted by law.
- ii. Right to Rectification: You have the right to request a review, correction, or amendment of your personal information at any time.
- iii. Right to withdraw: You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection and processing of your personal information. However, please be aware that revoking your consent may impact your ability to use certain features on our platform.
- iv. Right to Erasure: We erase all or any of your personal information when it is no longer required, or when you ask us to remove the same, except the information which is required to be retained by us to meet statutory obligations and for exercise or defence of legal claims.

2.2 Withdrawing Your Consent
We will require and obtain your explicit consent for processing your personal data in certain cases such as placing tracking cookies on your device to monitor and analyse your usage of the app, geolocation data and other personal information, to tailor the app experience to your preferences and to offer you location-based services and recommendations.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, especially with respect to geolocation tracking. However, please note that withdrawing consent will not affect any processing activities that have already occurred before the withdrawal, or the processing of your personal information which occurs without your consent in compliance with law. You can manage your consent preferences at any time through your device settings.
2.3 Opt-Out Provisions
You can unsubscribe from or opt-out of marketing and promotional communications and certain data tracking and analysis features used by us:
- location tracking feature which is used by us to offer features like displaying general locality information on your profile and showing you profiles of nearby users, thereby personalizing your experience on the app. Please note that opting out of location services may limit certain features of the app, including proximity-based matchmaking and viewing nearby users’ profiles.
- marketing, promotional, or newsletter communications from us at any time. Upon opting out, the terms and conditions of this privacy policy and related policies shall remain applicable. However, we reserve the right to send essential service-related communications to users.
For unsubscribe, opt-out and data deletion requests, you may change the settings of your mobile app or contact our support team at contact@joinalyke.com using your registered email address, and we will take steps to delete the requested data in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. You may also change your device settings to opt-out of some features.

Minor’s Privacy
XVision does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If a user fraudulently misrepresents their age and is identified as a minor, we shall, upon receiving a formal request from the user’s parent or legal guardian, promptly delete all data relating to the minor. Such requests may be sent to contact@joinalyke.com and we will ensure swift compliance.
4. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
At Alyke, we take all necessary measures to ensure that your personal data is securely stored and handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Your personal data may be hosted on servers maintained by our trusted storage partners, which may be located in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
To mitigate the risk of data loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, Alyke maintains backup copies of personal data in a secure and limited manner. This ensures business continuity and protects our legitimate interests.
Data Retention Periods
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our retention practices include:
- Active Accounts: While your account remains active, your personal information is retained to support the seamless use of Alyke’s services.
- Transaction Data: Retained for 10 years to comply with tax, legal, and accounting requirements.
- Consent Records: Retained for 5 years to demonstrate compliance with data protection standards.
- Traffic Data / Logs: Retained for 1 year to fulfill legal data retention obligations.
- Dispute Resolution Data: Retained for 1 year after account closure to support the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
- Profile and Subscription Information: Retained for 1 year after account closure to assist with accurate financial forecasting and business operations.
Account Closure and Deletion Procedures
Upon account closure:
- Your profile will be disabled and no longer visible to other users.
- We maintain a Safety Retention Window of 3 months after account closure, during which certain data is retained to address security incidents, fraud, or unlawful activities.
- For banned accounts, key identifying information may be retained for up to 2 years to prevent re-registration attempts and protect the integrity of the platform.
- If there are any outstanding legal matters (e.g., disputes, claims, subpoenas), relevant information will be retained until such matters are fully resolved.
- Upon expiry of the retention periods, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data, unless further retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
Anonymized Data
Where legally permissible, Alyke may retain anonymized and aggregated data for purposes such as service improvement, feature development, security enhancements, and internal research. Anonymized data does not identify individual users and is not subject to deletion requests.
Cross-border Data Transfers
By registering with Alyke, you expressly consent to the transfer of your personal data to our service providers and subcontractors, which may operate outside your country of residence. All such transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms, to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), RPO, and RTO
Alyke maintains secure backup and disaster recovery systems to protect against data loss. While exact Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) values may vary based on operational factors, we strive to:
- RPO: Ensure that data backups are updated at least every 24 hours to minimize potential data loss.
- RTO: Restore critical services within a 24–48 hour window in the event of a disaster or major outage.
We continually review and update our disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity, service continuity, and compliance with best industry practices.
5. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We may disclose the personal information we collect to provide you our services, to respond to and fulfil your requests, as otherwise directed or consented to by you, and for the following purposes:

- Other Platform Users: If you chat with other users and use the features provided by our app, certain specific information provided by you may be available to other users of our platform. Additionally, we may provide or enable features that allow you to share your profile details, including photographs, your interests, hobbies and other details, with other users. If you choose to share your personal information with others, we encourage you to exercise caution as such information may be misused by others. We take all possible measures to ensure that your personal information is not directly shared others under any circumstances, and you agree to take full responsibility for any information you choose to share on our platform and with other users.
- Accessibility by Search Engines: Certain portions of your profile on our platform may be indexed by search engine crawlers and may, therefore, appear in internet search results. However, no Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as contact details, will be included in such publicly accessible results.
- Transfer of Information in Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, sale, transfer of our assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of XVision’s business by or to another company, your Personally Identifiable Information may be transferred as part of the transaction. Such transferred information will continue to be processed in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy unless otherwise communicated to you.
- Service Providers- We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us such as payment related transactions, optimisations and improvement of our platform, cloud service providers and content moderation services (“Service Providers”). The supplier with which we share user personal data vary depending on a variety of factors, such as which services of our platform the user engages with. To provide services to users, we have collaborated with various service providers including but not limited to Amazon (AWS), Google (GCP), Apple (iTunes, iCloud), MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Inc. 7. DEACTIVATION OR DELETION OF ACCOUNT
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time from the delete feature provided in the mobile app or by emailing us at contact@joinalyke.com. However, even after deactivation or deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, to defend against potential claims and comply with our legal obligations, or to protect user safety. If your account is deactivated or deleted, XVision will grant access to the data associated with the account once the appropriate legal documentation is provided.
We have an account deletion period of seven days when the account is under account ban until logged in. If user logs into the account within seven days of account deletion, the account gets restored, otherwise the account gets deleted.
Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may still be viewable and/or accessed to the extent such information has been previously shared with others, or copied or stored by others. We cannot control this, nor do we accept any liability for this. If you have given third party applications or websites access to your personal information, they may retain such information to the extent permitted under their terms of service or privacy policies.

Once you register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time just by logging in to Alyke (other than your date of birth, name, mobile number, email and location (which, if you have given Alyke access to your location in your device settings, is automatically updated based on the location of your device)). It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are kept up to date.
- e. Other Information: Details related to your interactions with the app, such as your location data, traffic data, user media, communication data, mobile device data, if you have given us permission to access this information.

If you choose to delete your account from our platform and stop using our services, your profile will be disabled and no longer visible to users. We maintain a safety retention window of 3 months after account closure, during which certain data is retained to address security incidents, fraud, or unlawful activities. For banned accounts, key identifying information may be retained for up to 2 years to prevent re-registration attempts and protect the integrity of the platform. If there are any outstanding legal matters (e.g., disputes, claims, subpoenas), relevant information will be retained until such matters are fully resolved. - a. Account Information: We may process your personal information to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, including providing our services to you. Your profile information will be used to provide you recommendations, and to improve your experience while using our app.

We process and securely store your login credentials to verify your identity and provide you with seamless access to your Alyke account and other services on our platform. - c. Email Address: Your email address will not be shared with third parties. It will be used solely for the following purposes:
- informing you about your membership status and sending welcome email.
- notifying you of relevant activities related to your account like launch of Alyke app, friend found, referral achieved or coins earned.
- sending messages related to account deletion, account ban, account ban warning etc.
- troubleshooting and resolving any issues you encounter.

We encourage you to exercise caution in case you make your email address visible or accessible to others, and you agree to take responsibility for how your information is used by others.

Email or SMS/Whatsapp Notifications: By registering with us and using our services, you consent to receive notifications via email, sms or whatsapp etc. These notifications may include updates about your account, matches, or activity on the app. If you prefer not to receive notifications, messages or unsolicited and unwanted marketing calls, you should register your mobile number with Do-Not-Call registries (DNC) as applicable to your jurisdiction. - e. Geolocation Data: With your consent, we may process your geolocation data to provide location based features from recommendations, top picks, filters like lookup. Sharing your location is optional but necessary to discover and connect with other users nearby.
- f. Uploaded Photos:
- To create an engaging profile, it is essential to upload your pictures and choose a display image.
- We may use automated recognition features to assess image quality, composition, and authenticity to ensure the best representation of your profile. Please note that such automated recognition features are prone to errors, and this might lead to some images being missed or other errors in display, which is beyond our control.
- Photos uploaded by you will be reviewed before being displayed on your profile to check for any content violations. Any content violation in media or images, or any other wrong information by the user will lead to the profile being blocked and removal of such content or wrong information.
- Your uploaded photos may be visible to other users, and with your explicit consent, your profile pictures may feature on the Alyke homepage or in promotional content.
- g. Chat Messages and Written Content:
- Your chat messages are private and stored securely to provide access to your chat history.
- Any information provided or shared by you during your chat with other users while using our services may be used by others to contact you or to send you messages, and we are not responsible for the personal information or any other information you choose to provide in your chat messages.
- To maintain a safe and respectful platform, we may use filters and image verification flow to identify inappropriate content, such as derogatory language or vulgar images. We reserve the right to remove such content and take appropriate action against misuse.
- Persistent acts of harassment or any conduct in violation of our platform’s guidelines shall result in the permanent suspension or deletion of the user’s account from our platform.
- h. Customer Service History: All communications made with our customer support through the grievance cell are duly recorded and maintained to enhance and optimize the quality of services provided to you.
- i. Push Notifications: We may send push notifications to inform you about the status of your membership, to notify you of any new messages, activities, or updates pertaining to your account, and to suggest potential matches or provide promotional content. Some examples of push notifications include but are not limited to Abandon Profile (Incomplete Signup), Launch Notification (New Version Released), Daily Engagement (New People in Your Area), Daily Engagement (New Top Picks), Friend Found (New Friend Matched), New Message (User Received a New Message), Referral Achieved (Referral Code Used). These notifications will be sent in accordance with your preferences and may be changed in your device’s settings.
- j. Social Media Tools: You may choose to share information or content with other social media platforms, social networking services, or other third-party features or integrated tools while using our services, and vice versa. By using these features, you can share certain information with your friends or the public, based on the privacy settings you choose with the third-party provider of the social sharing tool. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing related to these features, please review the privacy policies of the third parties that provide them.
- k. Inviting Friends: You may use our referral feature wherein you can share your referral code and link to your friends and invite your friends to join our app or use our services. XVision does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If a user fraudulently misrepresents their age and is identified as a minor, we shall, upon receiving a formal request from the user’s parent or legal guardian, promptly delete all data relating to the minor. 4. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal data may be hosted on servers maintained by our trusted storage partners, which may be located in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
To mitigate the risk of data loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, Alyke maintains backup copies of personal data in a secure and limited manner. This ensures business continuity and protects our legitimate interests.
Data Retention Periods
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our retention practices include:
- Active Accounts: While your account remains active, your personal information is retained to support the seamless use of Alyke’s services.
- Transaction Data: Retained for 10 years to comply with tax, legal, and accounting requirements.
- Consent Records: Retained for 5 years to demonstrate compliance with data protection standards.
- Traffic Data / Logs: Retained for 1 year to fulfill legal data retention obligations.
- Dispute Resolution Data: Retained for 1 year after account closure to support the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
- Profile and Subscription Information: Retained for 1 year after account closure to assist with accurate financial forecasting and business operations.
Account Closure and Deletion Procedures
Upon account closure:
- Your profile will be disabled and no longer visible to other users.
- We maintain a Safety Retention Window of 3 months after account closure, during which certain data is retained to address security incidents, fraud, or unlawful activities.
- For banned accounts, key identifying information may be retained for up to 2 years to prevent re-registration attempts and protect the integrity of the platform.
- If there are any outstanding legal matters (e.g., disputes, claims, subpoenas), relevant information will be retained until such matters are fully resolved.
- Upon expiry of the retention periods, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data, unless further retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
Anonymized Data
Where legally permissible, Alyke may retain anonymized and aggregated data for purposes such as service improvement, feature development, security enhancements, and internal research. Anonymized data does not identify individual users and is not subject to deletion requests.
Cross-border Data Transfers
By registering with Alyke, you expressly consent to the transfer of your personal data to our service providers and subcontractors, which may operate outside your country of residence. Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), RPO, and RTO
Alyke maintains secure backup and disaster recovery systems to protect against data loss. While exact Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) values may vary based on operational factors, we strive to:
- RPO: Ensure that data backups are updated at least every 24 hours to minimize potential data loss.
- RTO: Restore critical services within a 24–48 hour window in the event of a disaster or major outage.
We continually review and update our disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity, service continuity, and compliance with best industry practices.

- Other Platform Users: If you chat with other users and use the features provided by our app, certain specific information provided by you may be available to other users of our platform. Additionally, we may provide or enable features that allow you to share your profile details, including photographs, your interests, hobbies and other details, with other users. If you choose to share your personal information with others, we encourage you to exercise caution as such information may be misused by others. We take all possible measures to ensure that your personal information is not directly shared others under any circumstances, and you agree to take full responsibility for any information you choose to share on our platform and with other users.
- Accessibility by Search Engines: Certain portions of your profile on our platform may be indexed by search engine crawlers and may, therefore, appear in internet search results. However, no Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as contact details, will be included in such publicly accessible results.
- Transfer of Information in Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, sale, transfer of our assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of XVision’s business by or to another company, your Personally Identifiable Information may be transferred as part of the transaction. XVision disclaims any responsibility for the privacy practices, policies, or content of these external websites, including third-party advertisers or social networking platforms that may link to or require navigation away from our platform.
7. DEACTIVATION OR DELETION OF ACCOUNT
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time from the delete feature provided in the mobile app or by emailing us at contact@joinalyke.com. However, even after deactivation or deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, to defend against potential claims and comply with our legal obligations, or to protect user safety. If your account is deactivated or deleted, XVision will grant access to the data associated with the account once the appropriate legal documentation is provided.
We have an account deletion period of seven days when the account is under account ban until logged in. If user logs into the account within seven days of account deletion, the account gets restored, otherwise the account gets deleted.
Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may still be viewable and/or accessed to the extent such information has been previously shared with others, or copied or stored by others. We cannot control this, nor do we accept any liability for this. If you have given third party applications or websites access to your personal information, they may retain such information to the extent permitted under their terms of service or privacy policies.
8. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
At XVision, we are continually striving to enhance our services and provide a better user experience. As part of this effort, we reserve the right to modify or update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, business practices, or advancements in technology. The transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure. Any such transmission is done at your own risk. Once your information is received, we adopt strict procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure data protection, however, we are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from cyberattacks, security breaches or transfer of data over communication networks and facilities not directly owned or controlled by us.

We may from time to time send you service-related announcements when we consider it necessary to do so (such as when we temporarily suspend our platform or services for maintenance, or security, privacy, or administrative-related communications). We send these to you via in app notifications.
