1Platform age requirement

Alyke is exclusively for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from or permit registration by minors. The age verification process includes date of birth collection at registration.

2Zero tolerance for child exploitation

We maintains absolute prohibition against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. All forms of CSAM, grooming, solicitation, and content that endangers minors are strictly forbidden. Profile photos containing children must follow specific guidelines requiring full clothing and adult supervision.

  • Solicitation of minors for sexual purposes

2.2. Photos of children

If you include children in your profile photos:

  • Children must be fully clothed
  • Children cannot appear alone in photos
  • No photos of unaccompanied minors, even childhood photos of yourself

3Immediate consequences

Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination, with all content preserved for law enforcement. Additional measures include IP and device bans, mandatory reporting to authorities (NCMEC), and prohibition from creating new accounts, with full cooperation in criminal investigations.

4Detection and prevention

A multi-layered protection system combines automated age verification, photo analysis, user reports, behavioral pattern analysis, and hash-matching against known CSAM databases. Prevention strategies include an 18+ age gate, continuous monitoring, AI/machine learning detection, human moderator review, and immediate removal of suspected minors.

5Mandatory reporting

United States

We report apparent violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by 18 USC § 2258A.

India

We report to Indian authorities as required under the POCSO Act, 2012 and IT Act, 2000.

Content preservation

We preserve reported content for the time required by law (minimum 180 days) to assist investigations.

6User reporting

Users can report suspected underage accounts, child exploitation, or CSAM through in-app reporting buttons or dedicated email channels. In cases of immediate danger, local emergency services (911/112) should be contacted first, and users should never download suspected CSAM or attempt independent investigations.

If you suspect:

  • A user is under 18
  • Child exploitation or abuse
  • CSAM on the platform

Report immediately:

If immediate danger: Call local emergency services first (911/112)

Do not:

  • Download or save suspected CSAM
  • Continue communicating with the user
  • Try to investigate yourself
